Their marriage cert gave me the following information:

• Patrick was a commercial traveller when he got married.
• He was living in Arnott St. [Thom's tells me he had only recently moved there and I cannot yet ascertain if he had been previously living with his mother and twin brother in Dunville Terrace. In any event, he soon moved to Mount Temple Road, a new DADC development on the Northside.]
• His father's name was Joseph and he was a carpenter.
• Sarah was living in 44 James's St. when she got married.
• She is down as having no occupation despite being returned in census earlier that year as a book-keeper,
• They are both down as "full" age and can therefore marry. It seems a little odd that the ages are not given. He was 31 at this stage and she was 27. Who was hiding their age here?
• We'll keep the witness George Graham in mind in case he turns up anywhere in the future.
